General License Information
Babylon's two product versions Babylon-Pro (Corporate Edition) and Babylon-Enterprise offer enterprises a high performance translation and knowledge access tool. The tool facilitates multilingual correspondence in enterprises and provides a single-click procedure for quickly accessing corporate knowledge databases if needed.
VLP Program (Volume License Program)
The price of the license depends on the official general price list and applicable quantity discounts.

Enterprises with a specific need for licenses.
SLP Program (Site License Program)
The SLP program license entitles to use the software in a specified usage unit. Usage units can be parts of a company, locations, subsidiaries, a group of companies, specific countries, or world-wide use. Minimum number to entitle for SLP are 101 Licenses. The enterprise investigates the number of workstations present in the defined usage unit at the time of signing the agreement. This number of workstations forms the basis for determining the price quoted by Babylon and defines the "number of licensed workstations." As long as the number of licensed workstations does not increase by more than 10%, the licensee can install the software on all workstations up to this number. Once the 10%-threshold has been exceeded, the licensee is required to purchase an extended license which also covers the exceeded 10%.

Licensed Period of Use
Annual and perpetual licenses are available for purchase. The one-year period licensed by the annual license begins when the license key is provided to the licensee.
Maintenance und Update Services
The purchase of a perpetual license includes no maintenance and update services.
Subsequently it is possible to order separate annual maintenance and update services which cost 18% of the price for a perpetual license detailed in the price list valid at that time. The one year license already includes maintenance and update services. Customers without Maintenance and Service are able to purchase an Upgrade to actual or new Version which cost 66% of the price for a perpetual license detailed in the price list valid at that time.
Delivery of Babylon Products
The delivery of the software is complied by sending a license key. The customer downloads the actual software from the server.
