Corel Transactional Licensing (CTL)
The
CTL program is a flexible and cost effective license program targeted towards
the commercial and educational sector.
- 1 license for a single user or multiple licenses for additional named users.
- There is no ongoing purchase commitment.
- Home and laptop use is included provided both copies of the software are not
being used at the same time.
The Corel
Contractual License (CCL)
The CCL is a yearly license program
solely targeted towards the commercial sector: medium-to large-sized
organisations that can utilise the advantages of a centrally negotiated discount
pricing structure.
- It guarantees an ongoing volume discount for one year.
- Easy license administration and reduced deployment time when your entire
site is governed by a single agreement
- A minimum initial purchase is required at the time the contract is signed
- The initial order can be a mix of new products, upgrades, maintenance,
training, and support services
- If the agreement is not renewed, it expires 1 year after the Effective Date.
- Home and laptop use is included provided both copies of the software are not
being used at the same time

Price Levels
There are six price levels for
the CTL and CCL program. Price levels by product are determined by the amount of
order products. The highest price level per order can be attained for each of
the products within that order. Governmental institutions fall automatically
under price level E.
Maintenance
Maintenance guarantees a flexible and cost-effective
route to software support and ensures automatic protection for upgrades.
Purchased in conjunction with your product license, maintenance is designed to
ensure that your software is kept current, supported, convenient and up to date.

- Upgrade protection: for one or two years following the date of your
Maintenance purchase.
- Receive one Premium support incident for every 20 Maintenance licenses
purchased
- Premium support includes a free phone number to call for assistance and a
Support Account Manager designated to work with you on any incidents. Additional
Premium support incidents can be purchased as needed by contacting your Corel
representative.
- You may use licensed software one version back from the current version.
This permits all entitlements to current licensing programs to be furnished to
customers using a previous version of the software
- All current Corel license products and both CTL and CCL programmes are
available for maintenance
Media & Documentation
Media is not included with the
purchase of licenses. Customers may order media for an additional charge at the
same time they order their licenses. Except for WordPerfect® customers this will
be sent to the customer without charge. Customers who require additional media
at a later date may order it through a Corel Authorised Reseller or purchase
media directly from the Corel customer service. Customers and resellers must
validate entitlement to media by producing proof of purchase e.g. copy of the
invoice or receipt for the product, with an individual line item for the
software, or a copy of Corel license certificate.
How to order
The endorser contacts a Corel Authorised Reseller to
order licenses. The reseller determines if the customer meets different purchase
criteria. If the organisation is eligible, the reseller provides a quotation.
Corel will provide the license documentation through email, usually within 24
hours. The order should contain the following information:
- PIN (if known)
- Quantity
- Price per unit
- Product
- Part number
- Legal Client name with mailing address, telephone and fax numbers and
contact name
- Initial media
- Vendor contact
