TSP Licensing
Perpetual Plus Licensing Program
With TSP Licensing you have the opportunity to purchaseany McAfee
component or McAfee product suite. TSPlicensing is available for
upwards of 11 nodes and isbased on bands of quantities. McAfee uses the
term“node” (= network node) for this in order to indicate thesum total
of intelligent devices (workstations, servers,mail or other gateways)
that you are operating. Pricingis in relation to the sum total of these
nodes with largerdiscounts for higher order volumes.
Multinode License Packs
Multinode License Packs are pre-configured withperpetual licenses for
5, 10 and 25 users. There are fixedprices for the multinode license
packs in relation to thesum total of network nodes. The package
consists of a CD, manuals, the license agreement, media exchangecard,
registration card and support form.
Customers are required to complete and return theregistration card to
the address shown. After sending this card, they receive a registration
number (alsoreferred to as a grant number) from McAfee that allowsthem
to access the support purchased.
Re-orders
In order to make the purchase of security products forgrowing companies
as simple and cost-effective aspossible, the McAfee Perpetual Plus
Licensing Program allows its customers to purchase additional
licensesat the original or best price ranking in their
purchasinghistory. The re-ordering policy gives customers
thepossibility in this way of making future purchases of all McAfee
products on the basis of the original or first priceranking used for a
minimum of 5 nodes. All they haveto do when re-ordering is quote the
grant number of the original order.
Price levels
Price levels are calculated on the basis of the total sumof intelligent
devices (or nodes = network nodes) that areused in a company.
Licensing and Prime Support
Perpetual License
A Perpetual License gives you the right of use to aspecific
software package that is to be utilised by aspecific number of users
(nodes) for an unlimited period of time.
Available in:
- Multinode License Packs for 5, 10 and 25 nodes coupled with a Gold Support agreement.
- TSP Perpetual Plus licensing for 11 to 2,000+ nodes coupled with a Gold Support agreement
- TSP Licensing for more than 2,000 nodes coupledwith an optional support agreement.
Subscription License
The support agreement must be renewed annually in thesecond year of a
subscription license, or from the secondyear and for all subsequent
years of a perpetual license.
Please note that you only have access with a validsupport agreement to
the online service that you requireto maintain your software.

Support levels
Gold Support
The key to online support (updates, upgrades, etc.) is asupport
agreement. Each support level includes accessto our software downloads.
With Gold Support you are given the highest priority,when appropriate,
in requesting telephone support fromstaff in technical support during
normal working hours.
Main features of Gold Support
- 24 x 7 unlimited access to technical support bytelephone, chat or e-mail.
- Access
to our worldwide support laboratory that is available on-site or by VPN
for troubleshooting and training, setting up test scenarios and much
more.

Platinum Support
